Agricultural Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) have been around for decades offering investors a chance to buy land without actually taking title. Patterned after mutual funds, REITs offer income streams, diversification and long-term capital appreciation for investors. Historically REITs own apartments, hospitals, commercial real estate and even timberland. More recently REITs have been getting into agricultural land.
