Richard “Richie” Grasso joins Zito Partners
NEW YORK (September 13, 2011) — Richard “Richie” Grasso is the newest member of the team to join the New York office of Zito Partners.
Before becoming a partner at Zito Partners, Richie was a Project Manager with Visible Technologies’ marketing department. In his assignment at Visible Technologies, Richie worked with the Helsinki Group to bring a grass-roots campaign online to raise awareness globally for the introduction of the Republic of South Sudan as the 193rd nation to join the United Nations. Richie coordinated and monitored the growth and various analytics tracked by Visible Technologies software, reported how the campaign was evolving, and helped spread information to new advocates around the world.
Richie started with Bernard Gerald Cantor (BGC) Partners, an electronic brokerage company. He worked on the equities and derivatives desk and worked with technology analysts on research and speculation forecasts for companies such as Amazon, Apple, and Google.
Richie is a 2009 graduate of The George Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He wrote his thesis on early American business history, specifically focused on entrepreneurism. He was part of an award-winning marketing team, which created its own social awareness brand that went on to be recognized at the national level.
