‘It makes a lot of sense’ for Pembina to terminate its agreement with Inter Pipeline: Shareholder

Rob Thummel, managing director and senior portfolio manager at TortoiseEcofin joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss Pembina’s decision to terminate its agreement with Inter Pipeline. He says, “there’s no reason to get into a bidding war. Pembina has so many opportunities ahead of them.” As to Brookfield Infrastructure’s ability to effectively manage Inter Pipeline’s assets, Thummel notes, “I think Brookfield will do a really good job of continuing to improve the value of the assets, and really get the value out of the Heartland petrochemical complex.”
