“Inflation and bonds are not a magical chocolate and peanut butter combination. While higher rates will cause short-term pain, the long-term opportunities are bright as yields reset higher,” says Eve Lando. She encourages a long-term view so holding bonds increases return on capital and improves performance. Currently, Lando favors financials, utilities, and staples sectors.
