JERSEY CITY — About four years ago, Sue Henderson knew she was ready.
The former high school math teacher had spent decades climbing the ranks at colleges in Georgia and New York, preparing to take a shot at becoming a university president.
After three years of looking at open presidency positions, she found New Jersey City University.
