NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY’S HOTTEST CHEFS COME TOGETHER TO RAISE AWARENESS AROUND SUDDEN INFANT DEATH AT THE CJ FOUNDATION’S TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS BENEFIT
Event to Include a Silent Auction

Hackensack, NJ – The CJ Foundation for SIDS will host Taste of the Holidays, a culinary, wine and spirits tasting event featuring some of New York & New Jersey’s hottest and most popular chefs, restaurants and vendors on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at Maritime Parc at Liberty State Park, 84 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City, NJ. Proceeds from Taste of the Holidays will help the CJ Foundation for SIDS’ mission to reduce the risk of future infant deaths, support families who have suffered a loss and fund medical research so that no new families have to endure the pain of losing their infant.
New York restaurants featured at the benefit in 2010 included Barolo, Brasserie 8½, Cafe Centro, David Burke Townhouse, Femina, The Leopard, Legends, Savore, Il Gattopardo and SD26. New Jersey restaurants include Due Mari, Due Terre, Maritime Parc, and Nisi. An assortment of fine wines will be provided by Vignaioli Selection.
The event’s Honorary Chair is Raegan Moya-Jones, Co-Founder CEO Aden + Anais and Joel and Susan Hollander, Founders, CJ Foundation for SIDS.
“While the holiday time should be one of celebration for all families, we recognize those who have been deeply impacted by the loss of a child to sudden infant death syndrome,” said Linda McNeil Tantawi, Executive Director, CJ Foundation for SIDS. “We are especially thankful to the chefs, sponsors, and vendors who are coming together to make this evening a memorable one while helping us to fund our programs and research.”
