Flynn and Yasinski Named Vice Presidents of Distribution for Gold Bullion International

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2011  — Dan Flynn and Joe Yasinski have been named Vice Presidents of distribution for Gold Bullion International (GBI), the leading institutional precious metals provider to individual investors and the wealth management industry.
“Dan and Joe bring significant experience in dealing with our key customer base, and prospective clients,” said Savneet Singh, GBI’s chief executive officer. “Our growth, especially in the past few months, has been on a record pace, and we know Dan and Joe will provide additional momentum to that trend.”
Flynn and Yasinski will oversee product development of closed-end funds, ETF’s, and structured products using GBI technology. They will also be responsible for new client acquisitions for GBI’s white label portal for RIA’s, pensions and endowment consultants, hedge funds, broker-dealers, and foreign financial institutions, as well as wholesaling to existing broker-dealer clients.
Both gentlemen served most recently as vice presidents of distribution at Eaton Vance Distributors where their responsibilities included Sales and Marketing of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, closed-end funds, Reg-D private placements, derivative overlay strategies and charitable gift and donor advised funds.
Flynn raised $3 billion in new assets at Eaton Vance and participated in the largest closed-end offering in history (the $5.5 billion Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Diversified Equity Income Fund, EXG) in February 2007. After he developed the marketing strategy for the Global Macro Absolute Return Fund, it became the fastest growing open-end mutual fund in the industry in 2009.
Yasinski was named managed account wholesaler of the year in 2007, and wirehouse wholesaler of the year in 2010 when he raised $1.2 billion. Over the course of his career he has raised in excess of $5 billion.
Flynn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Rochester, while Yasinski has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from The University of Arizona.
