Fusion alternative

Hudson Regional Hospital is one of the first in NJ to use an artificial disc that offers compression similar to a natural disc

Dr. Fabien Bitan, chief of spine surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and a consultant at Atlantic Spine Center in West Orange, is scheduled to perform the implantation of the M6-C artificial cervical disc from Texas-based Orthofix Medical Inc. on Oct. 7 at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus.
